I often say "Thanks so much" and I just realized I sometimes don't mean it and half the people who hear this think I'm being sarcastic. I usually assault customer service people with my excessive thanks on the phone. Even though I do mean it half the time, everything I say sounds sarcastic (autism!). At least "Have a Nice Day" (4 words) bit the dust.

I’m really bad about using too many exclamation points after “thank you” in emails. To try to convey sincerity I guess. I think just “thanks” is still the only safe bet. And for the record, I literally never mean it LOL
